What kind of game is Steadfast?
A real-time tactical (RTT) game of naval combat. You command a fleet rather than a single ship, issuing orders from your flagship while the battle plays out in real time.
When is it out?
There is no release date yet. Steadfast is in pre-alpha development — wishlist on Steam to hear first.
Is there multiplayer?
Yes. Fleet battles can be fought against other admirals online, or against the computer on your own.
Which platforms?
PC first. Other platforms have not been announced.
How historically accurate is it?
Vessels, armament and scenarios are built from primary and secondary sources of the 1792–1815 period. Where playability and history pull against each other, we say so openly in the journal.
